We've been coming here repeatedly after stumbling upon it 4-1/2 years ago just two months after they opened. Chef Mike and Laura, along with Uncle Sal and Aunt Cheryl (the wait staff all have aunt, uncle, or cousin before their names), and even the members of the fantastic band, all truly feel like family now and they welcome us as such.Anytime we have a new visitor in town, we ALWAYS take them to My Mother's House. Anytime we have a repeat visitor, they insist we take them back again!Laura will warmly greet you at the door and show you to your seat (reservations are STRONGLY recommended, especially on Friday and Saturday when Chef Mike and his band are performing). Chef Mike, who personally does the food prep each day using his grandmother's recipes, will come by every table usually before, during, and after your meal and chat a while. He's a great performer who sings lots of songs from the heyday of the Rat Pack Era, including his own hit song. He also plays the drums extremely well. And the band has incredible talent.The food is wonderful - no favorites to recommend whatever you get will delight you. And the portions are large enough that nearly everyone takes some home to enjoy the next day.Obviously I love this place and the people who own, work, and perform there. Try it and I'm certain you will too!

Absolutely amazing! Lived up to the heavy hype. Hard to describe. Italian supper club meets 60s Vegas musical diner. The owner sings in his band and is fantastic. A few guests from the crowd got up and sang. One did comedy as an intermission. My kid even got up there and spoke. Food is top notch as well. Good real Italian food with generous portions. Good beer and wine selection. Sal was A+++ service on the night. Will be back! Quite an experience.

Just absolutely amazing.The service:the special touches, the food, and the atmosphere.this was one of my best dining experiences ever, and that's a bold statement for living in vegas, but every word of it is true. the owners/chefs came out to greet us, I had my 2 y.o. with me,Michael (owner/chef)gave her a lolly pop, and even called Santa on the phone for her. they make their own cheese....my daughter loved it so much, that's all she kept eating, she loved it so much, the owners even gave her some to take home too. Danielle was our waitress and was very sweet and attentive. Laura also continued to check on us and was an absolute sweetheart.Thank youThe food:Is amazing, we had the cleopatra, which is filet cooked on a stone at your table with your veggies, brisket, which was super tender, and melt in your mouth good, rigatoni with bolognese sauce, and lasagna.all were incredible, but the filet, and brisket were my favorites. another great thing was the wine. not too many places carry red zinfandel, and they did, so we had a bottle too.the atmosphere/ ambiance:....also incredible. you can have a table or booth inside with live entertainment right in front of you, or you can patio dine, which was very relaxing too.this place is so unique as it is very family friendly and oriented. but can also be intimate/ romantic just for a night out with no kids. I cannot say enough good things about this place and have earned a customer for life.thank you My Mother's House.

The food, service, music.... everything is amazing and I can't say what I love most. The hospitality is beyond exceptional. My Mother's House is a hidden gem in Las Vegas/Summerlin area. This is a special find that you just have to experience for yourself. The food was excellent (especially the Cleopatra meal). This is an Italian restaurant with great ambience, food and entertainment. Mike the owner is the nicest guy you want to meet with has an amazing story as to how he got where he is today. He is very proud of his establishment and very proud of his employees. Mike is also the lead singer and drummer/percussionist in the amazing house band. This has the old Las Vegas flare and the fun never stops. Plan on staying for the whole show because Mike does not turn his tables over. You will experience great food and great music. Make sure to make your reservations in advance and make this a special evening for someone you want to share it with. You won't be disappointed!

This restaurant was highly recommend. We tried it and we loved it. The food , service and the entertainment was a experience you will never forget. As a owner of restaurants you can tell everything is done with love and passion.

Best Italian food I've had in my entire life. We come here every time we're in Vegas and we bring the whole family for their atmosphere and live music while dining. Chef Mike and his wife, Chef Laura will treat you like family !

We've always had an amazing experience at this place. From the fresh delicious food to the fun vibe, it's amazing! This is the first time we attempted bringing our 3 year old son.. and even he had an amazing time. When you come here.. you feel the love and feel like family. Thanks again, for another amazing experience!

We decided to go to My Mother's House because it had been recommended to us multiple times. We finally gave in and made the trip from Henderson to this neighborhood in the Summerlin area.We called and made reservations for 4. The staff who answered asked if we had any kids. Initially, I was thrown off by the question but when she asked if we needed a high chair I immediately knew kids were welcomed. Her name was Aunt Cheryl.We finally arrived and we're greeted by Aunt Cheryl who showed us to our table. Our name was on paper to indicate the table was reserved. There are tables in the middle that seat 4 but they're close enough to another party...I call it family style seating.Now, the staff are all Aunt or Uncle and that's great. You feel just like family when you walk in.The food is great, the meatballs fall apart in your mouth, the marinara and garlic bread is to die for and frankly, the best we've ever had! We opted to get a large family dish of chicken parmigiana over spaghetti. It was grand, even our kid who is picky cleared her plate. Best of all, we had left overs and they packaged it into an oven friendly container so we could just reheat in oven later or the next day.Now, for our little one...she was treated like a special guest by the owner. I've eaten here twice so I believe I can say with confidence that the food is really not very good at all.We started off with the house Chianti wine. It was pretty bad. The $10 a bottle no frills Chianti at Costo is a much better wine. Our dinners came with a small salad that was completely uninteresting and had a lite, almost non-existant dressing. The pizza was very oily, had dough that likely came from Sysco rather than being home made, was underdone and had no flavor or character whatsoever.The eggplant parm was underdone, had no seasoning and no taste. The meatballs, which were likely homemade, were ok. The tomato sauce was thin and watery, had no seasoning or taste. The best thing we ate all night was the sausage. They seemed to be homemade and were very good.The prices are a little high but the portion sizes are very large. We had a lot of extra food, which we took home. Of course no one wanted to eat it so eventually it went into the garbage.Twice a week the restaurant has live music featuring Chef Mike. The combo was pretty good but the amps were turned up to an ear splittingly loud level making it impossible to enjoy the music or converse with my dinner companions. We all left with ringing ears and throbbing headaches. The nicest thing I can say is that Chef Mike is a better entertainer than a cook.I have no idea why this place is so popular.
