The ramen was good. The broth for the Jinya Tonkotsu Black was yummy, and the noodles were cooked well and they did not stick to each other. The Spicy Grilled Chicken Ramen was also good, and the broth kinda tasted like the Thai Tom Yum soup because of the lime. They also have vegan ramen for those with diet restrictions.Dine in: Yes …More

The ramen here is delicious. If you like spice they actually make it with spice here. You can choose your spice level and the higher you go the better it tastes. Highly recommend if you want to have ramen at a reasonable price

Best place to get ramen downtown Los Angeles hands down.Tried basically all the ramen places and this is our favorite.Ordered the tonkatsu red level 3Broth: extremely hearty, flavorful, with a touch of spice. Deeply rich in flavor and has the scalp tingling with sweat. Perfect to warm up during a windy 68 degree weather day in California. No need for a sweater just order the red ramen.Noodles: Both the thick noodles and thin noodles are excellent. There is a certain volume to the noodles that you just can’t get with some of the places that use the store bought noodles. Tangy, hardy, slurpy fun.Service: Rodrigo is a kind and accommodating server. The place was busy but he took the time to come help us out I no a timely manner.Value: The ramen is worth the price. I really don’t like when I’m looking forward to ramen and it turns out subpar. I’m looking to enjoy a bowl like Naruto does and I get that every-time I eat here at this Jinya location.Review: No review just narrative and commentary.Side Note: delivery is great but come in and try it fresh out the kitchen. It’s worth the trip.

We were here on a Sunday evening, and it was packed with eaters which was a surprise to us as night time LA down doesn't seem to have that many people.I went for the spicy Ramen with Wonton which you don't see in more traditional ramen shops. Flavor was good and the wontons were tasty. Family enjoyed their Tonkuzu ramen, Chicken ramen and rice with braised pork.Good service, fast pace, but be prepared for some wait time during meal time.

Excellent service, and even better ramen. We all got the special chicken kaarage ramen. This was amazing. Sweet, fried, crispy chicken was laid gently in a bowl of an umami filled broth with noodles, spinach, a nicely soft-boiled egg, and extremely bouncy, al dente noodles. Their spicy sauce that you can get on the side is spicy and a perfect addition to balance out the fatty broth and sweet, crispy chicken.

Jinya Ramen Bar is a good ramen spot to hang out with friends while you don’t want to travel all the way to Little Tokyo. They have many selections of ramen including vegan ramen and several plant-based options. The ramen is very tasty, but I do think the broth is too salty. The staffs there are always friendly and helpful. However, a bowl of ramen cost about $18 to $20 and it is extremely expensive. -1 star for price.Quick tips: Jinya Ramen Bar is located South of the LA library and next to 85C Bakery. It is 5 mins walk from The Bloc shopping mall. You can park your car at The Bloc after shopping and walk there for lunch/dinner to avoid parking hassle.

Great little gem in downtown LA. Very nice atmosphere with TV and trendy bar. Love the yummy food, of course that's the best part. Parking is a bit challenging so be ready and willing to walk. I do recommend this place.Features: Optional, servers wore masks.
