This spot is really nice! the customer service is great, i think they might be family owned but everyone is very friendly and attentive . soon as u sit down you've got your chips and salsa. food came very quickly afterwards, i was impressed! tacos were really good and the chicken was seasoned. the place really gives an authentic vibe and there's plenty of seating whether you're alone, with a friend or even a group! I was told by the waitress that they dont have a drink menu, the only drinks on the actual food menu i saw were a regular marg, wine, beer etc. I saw other people ordering different flavors of margaritas so i assume you just have to request them. so be mindful that the menu wont actually include everything they serve in the bar. overall i will come back here for sure, i went on a friday night and it wasn't crowded at all just the right amount of people!

Pretty good Mexican restaurant, very friendly people, would recommend.Also Family friendly,They have a big place, big windows and looks nice, the patio is also great,I very much liked the Guacamole,The chef offered me free fried jalapeños and caramelized onions! I said sure and thought that was weird! Although I liked the gesture, but I was wrong! It was really good to eat as a side with my Fajita!

Great portion sizes, great atmosphere, always amazing service! The food is incredible and the red sangria is a must try if you're in the mood!Meant to review Casa Maya when it first opened and I finally got to try it, but completely spaced because I kept going back! We got dinner here last Saturday night before a show next door at the Focal Point. It is an authentic Mexican joint, down to the chefs, servers and bartenders. The menu is extensive and you can have your choice of delicious Mexican treats. The salsa and chips are among the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant in St. Louis. The service was good and the food was excellent. I had the Seafood Ranchero and my wife had the Shrimp Taco Salad. Highly recommend!

SO good! The Casa Maya fajitas are hands down the best we’ve ever had! From the drinks to the food to the customer service - all wonderful. Family friendly & a great addition in Maplewood. Highly recommend!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant. They have excellent food, great service and the people couldn't be nicer. I've taken several friends and every one of them loves it, too. Give it a try.

Pleasant experience here, went for dinner on Saturday night. Chips and salsa were good, food came out in a relatively timely manner. I got the street tacos - chorizo, steak, and chicken. The chorizo was pretty salty but the steak and chicken were great and I loved the sauces it came with. My boyfriend ordered fajitas, it took a few long trips for them to bring out all the plates for that but he also loved his food. I took off one star because when you walked in there were a bunch of employees at the front that were on their phones and just didn't look like they were having a good time. I've been a server so I get it, but don't have that as the first impression when customers walk in. Also, the decor was nice but a little lacking and the lights were a little too bright for a restaurant ambiance. But the great food and friendly service will have us back for more!

Tasty chips and salsa. One of us got the margarita with a beer in it and it was good. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. Nice service. Some of the tables in the back were a little tightly packed together.Dine in: Yes

Nice local Mexican eatery. Chips (thin & crispy) and fresh salsa were delicious! My street tacos included beef/chorizo, barbacoa, & shrimp with a choice of corn or flour tortilla. I chose corn. All were delicious except for the beef which was chewy & inedible. The beans that came with the street tacos were outstanding! My friend ordered a combo platter with an American style taco (see picture). All in all, we had a good meal and the staff was very hospitable..nice outdoor seating as well.

So this place is under new management apparently, they didn’t have a liquor license when we went in. And it’s been a long time since I had Tex mex, but I found the food here terrible. The service was really good, and since the big restaurant was totally empty they were on top of up of us. The server recommended me the ranchero, which was swimming in queso and really under flavored meat. The tacos my partner had had these massive chunks of meat that were super dry. Considering how well reviewed this place is I was really surprised hoping that my experience was not indicative of the new management.
