I ORDERED 3 DINNERS WITH THE FULL BABYBACK BASKET, THEY WERE NOT FULLY COOKED AND YOU CANNOT PULL THEM WITH YOUR FINGERS OR A FORK. I CALLED THE RESTAURANT AND TALKED TO MANAGER KATELYN, SHE TOLD ME THAT I CANNOT DO ANYTHING WHEN I TELL HER I WANT TO REPLACE THE ORDER AND WANT TO DELETE ALL 3 ORDERS WITHOUT COOKING. I STILL HAVE THE CONTROL IN MY REFRIGERATOR. I wanted you to place an order again, pay for it and go after Uber. I told him UBER WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COOKING THE FOOD AND THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. THE RIBS CLEARLY WOULD NOT COOKED LIKE THE MEAT WASHER AND CANNOT THROW AWAY. THIS IS HORRIBLE, I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY AND WAS NOT READY TO PAY ANOTHER ORDER, SHE REFUSED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE 3 DINNERS TO TAKE AND DELIVER COOKED ORDERS THE FRIES ALSO WERE NOT FULLY COOKED THE TOAST HAS NOT BEEN TOASTED IN ALL 3 ORDERS. THIS WAS AN UNCOVERED JOB THEY DID, KATELYN DIDN'T WANT SOMEONE TO SPEND MORE THAN $ 100.00 ON THIS RESTAURANT AND COULD NOT EAT THEIR DINNER. I ORDERED THIS TO BE DELIVERED AS WE ENSURE WE DO NOT EAT INSIDE A RESTAURANT DURING THE COVIDA PANDEMIC, BUT WE ARE STILL SUPPORTING LOCAL RESTAURANTS. SHAME ON YOU, SHORT, I ALWAYS WANT TO RETURN MY MONEY AND YOU CAN RECEIVE YOUR TASTING RIBS. I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH A LEGAL ACTION

Disappointing is the best way to put it. We wanted to support a local restaurant so we thought we would try Shorty's. We walked in and were seated right away. After 10 minutes, we started looking for a waitress. We saw one working at another table, then ours appeared from the kitchen. We saw her 3 times, once to take our order, once to bring our food and once to bring the bill. She never checked to see if everything was okay, refilling our drinks or offering dessert. The food was ok. One person in our party had a breast, which was dry and fluffy. The baked beans were hot, but tasteless. The fries served were a large portion, but lukewarm at best. No thanks. ï¸Â

The food was amazing, the service excellent. Beautiful area.

So I wanted to take my husband to dinner because our work schedule was not the same since the pandemic and today he left early on 05/01/2021. I have never been to Shortys BBQ and decided to give it a try so we sat down at 7.15pm. 15 minutes later, no one came to see us. I kept seeing 2 waiters, only a woman and a boy passed by. They didn't tell us anything. The guy looked at us but didn't say a word, just bowed his head and kept passing. I was so upset and asked my husband to come. I understand they are busy, but they weren't busy, but say something, acknowledge that we are customers. I will not be returning, I will be taking my business to the Texas Roadhouse where we will be treated with great customer service from the front door to the headquarters.

For a place known for their barbecue ribs, I don't think they know what that means. The rib plate could easily be the most terrible thing ever cooked on planet Earth. The prime rib was overcooked and tasteless. The fries were beyond garbage. The coleslaw was completely sweet like sugar, without any bitter taste. The garlic bread was tasteless and hard as a rock. How can this waste even serve humans? For the good of mankind, cook better food if you are going to charge money for it.
