After my son's wedding, we went to the boathouse for breakfast with our immediate family and my wonderful new daughter-in-law and her family. It was a great experience. The company was fantastic, the appetizers were delicious.

We enjoyed an early spring brunch here (in 2016) with clients from out of town. It was my first time eating here and it was perfect. We were sitting in the water. The food was delicious and you couldn't ask for a better view.

I love going to the boathouse. If you go early in the morning, their breakfast nook is all that is open. You will run into all the doggie parents grabbing a bite for their Central Park morning walk. If you go for lunch, make sure to get there early so you can request a seat by the lake. It is one of the most calming views in Manhattan. After, you can burn off the calories by getting lost in the rambles.
