There's always a line outside Taverna Kyclades for a reason - it's so good there's a wait to get seats! Thankfully expanding soon, this local eatery features seafood to die for like swordfish, clam, salmon, calamari and shrimp. Made Greek-style, these dishes feature a lot of lemon, basil and olive oil grilled recipes. Typically very healthy food, Taverna Kyclades is the place to take your family or a date - just make sure to plan ahead and get there early to get a seat, especially in the summer! Easy to get to by train or by car.
- Grilled Swordfish : awesome. ($23)
Theres a line out the door at Kyclades. When you step inside, finally, the chef just might be standing there chatting briefly with a customer before stepping back into the kitchen. Delicious dips (caviar dip that I would seriously fight you with my fork for), whole roasted fish to die for, and other great offerings in a folksy family friendly room the size of a Westchester rec room make this long line one worth waiting on. The service is, well, its Greek, you might need to play up your charm to win over the wait staff, but with a mouth full of delicious bread and olives will give you little time to care.
