Snowball Christmas Cookies
Another family Christmas favorite. This is a great recipe to make with kids. My cousin and I use to use the powdered sugar off of these cookies and make "snow storms" as kids.

1 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup finely chopped hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts or pecans.
2 Tablespoons powdered sugar (sifted)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Powdered Sugar for "frosting"

Step 1Combine all ingredients with hands until well blended.
Step 2Roll into bite-sized balls.
Step 3Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees.
Step 4While cookies are still warm roll in powdered sugar and again after cooled.
