Chicken Pesto Fettuccine


1 package fettuccine, linguine or spaghetti

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper

Cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup pesto (recipe in link)


If you have cooked chicken breast, you can use that to speed up prep.

Step 1Cook pasta according to directions.

Step 2Melt butter & olive oil.

Step 3Cook tomatoes for about 5 minutes until they start to split open.

Step 4Cut chicken into cubes, sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook for about 5-10 minutes until cooked.

Step 5Add cooked pasta, 1 cup of pasta water and pesto sauce and mix well.

Step 6Serve and sprinkle with Parmesan or Romano cheese.

This looks must try dish. It does seem like may take less time to cook. The photos look great. Definitely not a hard recipe. Good job 🙂

    It’s super quick. I usually make this the day after I made a roasted chicken. I eat the dark meat the day of and use the leftover white meat to make the chicken pesto fettuccine.
