Most people have not and I had not until yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised when my server came out with a huge wooden bowl, 2 eggs, lemon and all the true ingredients of a Caesar. He broke the eggs right in front of us and continued to prepare something I can only describe as wonderful. The salad had a wonderful acidity. Beware, this tastes nothing like the pre-prepared Caesar you get in most places. Today, most recipes omit the egg and produce a type of Caesar vinaigrette. Some places add yogurt to take place of eggs. Quite seriously, if it does not have a raw egg, it's not Caesar salad. I followed this with the pumpkin ravioli. This was delicious as well, toasted pumpkin seeds added a great flavor and texture to the sweetness of the ravioli. I look forward to returning.
