Everything was excellent! Great service, delicious drinks and the chimichanga was so tasty! We loved the salsas too! Perfect for enjoying a summer evening outside! We will be back again!

Guapo's is a wonderful Mexican Restaurant in the heart of Shirlington! The atmosphere is always vibrant and full of energy. Outdoor dining as well as indoor dining is available. Food us plentiful, full of flavor, always consistent, and reasonably priced. The staff is fast and courteous.Vegetarian options: The menu has many vegetarian options. You can also request no dairy items for a true vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are available and they have a kids menu which is adequate for precious little ones.Parking: There are metered parking spots but it's best to park in the nearby garage. Parking is free in the garage. It can get full at peak hours.

Excellent food! I went there for lunch and had carne asada, Chicken and a fish taco. Service was excellent and when I asked to take home my tortilla chips (bc they were super fresh and crispy) the server gave me a huge new bag of even fresher chips ????

So good! Happy Hour margaritas are where it's at. They have a great selection of tequilas and food. Service is always ready and on point. Thanks guys!

I just finished having lunch at Guapo's and I have mixed feelings. The food has been updated to meet the local culture and tastes. Overall I found the meal a bit bland but good. I order the Guapo's Combination platter that consisted of a beef enchilada, chicken taco, and pork tamale along with rice and beans. I can say the rice and beans were underwhelming but everything else was good, but not great. I recommend adding salt to just about everything along with some hot sauce :). I will eat here again just to try different things on the menu.

I was part of a group of 5. I ordered a mango daiquiri and pollo saltado. Both were tasty. Overall service was good however i felt rushed. It appeared a larger party was coming in and they wanted our table. I noticed them grab other tables and chairs to combine. Staff came to the table multiple times to take dishes and ask if we were fine even though we were all still eating. They seemed to want to clear our space. Otherwise it was a nice meal in a nice space.

Great customer service. Prompt late night service. Food was good. We were frustrated after we missed our reservation at a DC restaurant due to no parking. They were still open at 10:45pm! I really liked the chili rellenos here. Very cheesy and delicious. And the chips and salsa they serve at the beginning are nice. The chips and queso I ordered were good, but the queso had a bit too much of American cheese flavor for my preference. But a nice place to meet up with friends and good portion sizes too.

Guapos is not real tex mex like every think tha are, Pancho villas on 610 offers real mexican food,All Guapos is a puruvian stile chicken and dishes.Most of the food thare originaly is Peru.My other experience with them was returant safety.I feel that the resturant don't cater to the Disa ble properly.Don't gt me wrong I still eat thare and like the food I go to the one in Woodbrige before thay open I drove to the one in manassas,So I give them 3 stars
