This place makes top notch Japanese food. The sushi chefs are some of the best in Boston. I've been here over 30 times and every time has been great. I often attend the all-you-can-eat on Saturday. But anytime is a good time for this Restaurant. The service is always prompt and friendly and the quality and portions are perfect. I highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for great sushi in Boston for a reasonable price.

Sushi lunch specials are a great value here. It's not super fancy, but the food is very good. I like to sit at the sushi bar. Ask to sit upstairs by the windows with views of passers by vs. the basement dining room

I thought this was good my first trip here but today it was outstanding! Beef & onion Udon was out of this world. Little spicy but a nice sweet and flavorful broth. The sushi was spot on and the Sake was delicious. They close from 2-5 but the price, location and food is all worth it.

Sakurabana is a great choice for a lunch restaurant. They have a wonderful selection of sushi and they've got something for everyone. Today I had the sushi deluxe and was happy about it. The service is good and the atmosphere as well. Portions are not too pricey and good quality for the money. Definitely will be back.

Overall a good Boston Sushi Bar. The lunch hour is always busy, but they also have seating downstairs when it gets really busy.

Sakurabana has been my go-to place for sushi in the Financial District ever since Nara closed its doors. The food is fresh and tasty. The decor is clean and modern, but the tables are a little close for comfort and, yes, the entire restaurant fills up quickly at lunch time. The food is brought out fast, but they can be a little slow closing out your check.

I ordered the Nike Udon with extra noodle from this restaurant. Noodles are on average but when I checked the food, the waitress gave me receipts listing that food cost me $16 in total instead of $12 on the menu. However I couldn't find any price listed for extra noodle. They said the $4 for extra noodle is based on market price, but they can explain why there is no price for extra noodle or rice listed on menu, or anywhere in restaurant. If a restaurant charging $4 for just extra noodle I would definitely think is out of normal.

Stopped in on a Monday for take-out sushi for lunch. It was busy. 25 min wait for takeout, which to me is usually a good sign because that means that sushi was just made. I ordered three different things, sushi chetta, passion roll, and the sashimi sampler.I was a little disappointed with the fish itself. It honestly tasted a little -fishy- and not as clean as I had hoped. The combination of flavors was nice, to include the shiso leaf. My girlfriend was not a fan of the ginger inside the roll. They also forgot to include any soy sauce packets in our to go order. The person taking my order was a little curt, but I can chalk that up to it being busy. With so many other places to get sushi, would not go back.
