Had a lunch date and was in the mood for pizza...ordered a small pie, still had to take home 2 slices. Pizza was so delicious and cheesy just like I love it! Our server Joey was so nice and attentive the entire time. It was my first time there, but I will definitely be going again!

Massimo's has greatly improved since it has been under new ownership. The wait staff has been very friendly and accommodating. We have been there on several occasions for dinner and once for lunch. We especially enjoy their veggie pizza with its crispy crust, and their cannolis are very good.

Always fast & friendly service! We go here frequently for the lunch special & you can't beat the price plus the food has always tasted excellent! The atmosphere is wonderful with the dim lighting & oldies music. Everything is clean & seems very well maintained. Offers inside or outside seating which is nice on cooler days also has lots of room. There are drink special in the late afternoon for those who enjoy having alittle nip. Just an overall wonderful place!

Garlic rolls , food and staff. The food here is great. I try different entrees here and there. I will drive half hour to 45 minutes for these garlic rolls. Only try them if you are a fan of garlic. Full liquor bar, i love this place, i tell everyone in the Boynton area about it. The owner, he talks and greets everyone who comes in, he remembers your name, he makes every visit very welcoming. It's a family environment and we have been coming for about 5 years. Again...the garlic rolls are phenomenal!

I admit I haven't tried more than three or four dishes on their menu, but everything I've ordered, I've liked. The Pizza on the other hand, I LOVE. The crust is crunchy and chewy just the way I remembered from NY. They don't skimp on the toppings either, and the sauce is delicious. I've tried other pizza places (not by choice) , and I always come back to Massimos. I've even had food catered from here for my son's birthday party, and everything was a hit. I don't get the other reviews bashing the service and food... I've always found the owner and his wife to be courteous. Sure service can be spotty anywhere you go, but the food is consistently good.

New owner. Hadn't been to Massimo's in years. Overall disappointed. Bowl of minestrone soup was yummy and a decent sized portion. However the chicken entree was really small - seemed more like a lunch-sized portion than for dinner. Guess they were figuring I'd fill up on carbs (pasta, rolls, etc.). Check also had two unuauthorized up charges and an overcharge on one of the entrees. Pizza was very good. But the stingy chicken portion and padding on the check (server corrected but could have easily been missed) left a bad impression on me. Advice to management: stop worrying about maximizing your profits in the short term and concern yourself more with fixing the reputation damage from previous owner. Personally I would have spent the money to rebrand and change the name

Went on September 19th. I have never dined at this restaurant before and wanted to try a new place. My wife and I had a kid free night and my wife loves Italian cuisine. So I treated her out for dinner.Nice ambiance and decor inside. Clean and inviting dining area. Bar area available too. Promptly seated by host. About only 5 tables had customers (it was a Thursday night and after the early bird specials). Waiter and other staff friendly. Broad selection of menu items from soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, calzones, stromboli and pizzas. We ordered both a soup and a salad which were very good. Bread served to our table. Wife ordered baked ziti and I the Cappelini Alfresco. I ask the waiter to add chicken which was a option on the menu. Served to the table in a timely manner. The other meals coming out of the kitchen looked appealing as the servers carried them to the designated tables.Problems we encounter was my wife's ziti. I don't believe the kitchen staff drained the pasta well enough as the red sauce appeared thin and watered down. The sauce also appeared to have a slight burnt taste to it. My wife asked me to try her meal for my opinion as she was dissatisfied but could identify the problem. I sensed the burnt flavor also. When the waiter revisited our table, I tried to help my wife receive something else on the menu but my wife bashfully told me it's alright and its tolerable. I know she wasn't pleased with the meal we were paying $16.95 for but she said -don't make a scene.-And due to different staff serving the meals to our table instead of our waiter, (He had all 6 tables, including ours) my meal did not have the chicken I ordered. Between my wife's less than desirable order and that I was so hungry, I also didn't request a correction to my meal. I just figured I'd ask the waiter to correct the check when it arrived. We came to this restaurant five people me and my family we had to wait for 45 minutes for the food to show up when it showed up the sauce was really watery and me and my son we complained about it so they took my son's order drink the salt water and brought it back the food was not the best but okay the service was nothing special I wish note come back to this restaurant

Food was absolutely disgusting. The shrimp was gritty like it wasn't cleaned when. Spaghetti was too much and not enough sauce, the 2 meatballs had no flavor. The chicken francaise was completely saturated in lemon juice and was unedible. My husband has been sick from the food for an entire day as well. The salad and garlic bread was okay other than the bread being a little too hard. We ordered the food to-go 30 minutes before they closed so that was where we messed up ????. Never again! Would like to give them negative 5 stars ????.

Had reservation for eight people sitting outside. Asked for separate checks, server got very nervous and actually said the -owner- would not allow it, and she would not even ask. Red flag. Order got screwed up with two wrong pizzas served and a dinner entry not what was requested. The three pizzas ordered were served eventually, but not together making our dining uncomfortable as we did not eat at the same time. The wait staff appeared to be understaffed and quite frenzied. Then the one bill was presented, and it was overcharging us by over $100.00! Our server was able to correct the overcharge, but could not help us decipher the individual charges while the -owner- stood by in an unhelpful manner. When he was asked to help, he was actually hostel to us, insulting, and threatning. Our dining experience was not what one would expect from a reputable restaurant. Future dinners beware, there are many excellent restaurants in the Boynton Beach area, this is not one of them.
