It was everything and something else! Glad I decided to stop here for another great sandwich! The 17 1/2 roll on the onion with extra cheese is what we always get. I haven't had it in a while since the pandemic, but decided to give it a try. As delicious as ever! Great customer service too, keep up the good work!

Grilled veggie sandwich, fried fries, and mac and cheese bites were amazing. Excellent vegetarian options. I love the bread and the way they toast it. The corned beef is Michigan's best!

It's a bit pricey because the one I go to in Ann Arbor has fries, coleslaw, and pickles. This one only offers pickles. The wholesale price was 14.99 more. But, beautiful and warm! Call first. Ask about the Thousand Island on the side so I had to travel half an hour so the bread was soggy. But it was delicious. Even my 88 year old mom loved it.

This is a Detroit gem, located just outside of downtown near Belle Isle, Bread Basket Deli serves the best authentic Detroit deli style meals ... with a menu that includes classic comfort food, made soups homemade, award-winning chili and corn beef sandwiches and more! Located in a great area and close to good shopping. The staff are super nice and really try to go the extra mile. The place is really bright and clean and they are taking very strict COVID precautions. They have online orders, but they also accept orders over the phone. The first thing I have to say is that my roll was not fresh, but dry and almost stale. So I'm not convinced that the bakery is local. Also, the mustard on the sandwich was nothing special for a deli, let alone a grocery store with relatively high prices. The little things matter more and more, the higher the price. Likewise, I would expect a decent deli mustard or at least a yellow mustard made in Detroit, when the cost is so high. At these prices, put it in a small container to go, I don't want a package. Make the experience worth it. Do yourself a delicatessen and not a dinner.
