Po Folks

Po Folks, located at 400 Ohio Ave in Lynn Haven, is a takeout restaurant that offers a variety of Southern-style comfort food. Although I have personally enjoyed positive experiences at Po Folks in the past, my most recent visit was unfortunately disappointing. Despite being seated quickly and placing our orders promptly, we experienced a significant delay in receiving our food. Multiple tables that were seated after us received their orders before we did, and our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us. When we finally got our food, it was mostly at room temperature and one dish was not cooked as ordered. Even the replacement dish arrived after everyone else had finished eating. It was a disappointing experience, especially considering that the restaurant seemed to be adequately staffed. On a positive note, our server was friendly and attentive, providing good customer service despite the shortcomings in the kitchen. The quality of the food at Po Folks was just okay, nothing particularly outstanding. However, I must note that the long wait time and the inconsistency in the cooking of the dishes overshadowed the overall dining experience. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the gravel parking lot outside the restaurant can be difficult to walk on, potentially causing some inconvenience for diners. While my recent experience at Po Folks in Lynn Haven was disappointing, it is worth noting that individual dining experiences can vary. It is possible that this was an isolated incident, and the restaurant may still offer enjoyable meals and good service on other occasions.
