Excellent dining experience, best ambience ever, will return.??I had a wonderful second date at Boogaloo. The place was so welcoming, and the food so delicious, and the server so friendly.The menu at the restaurant did not match the online menu, but I scrambled and decided on jerk salmon. My dining partner had pulled pork (and a cup of gumbo, but that never came out, and we didn't realize till after!), as well as the tres leches cake. The salmon was delicious.They had very clean, gender-neutral restrooms, and you should definitely go there and check out their decor, from the swings at the bar to the booth shaped like a car.Vegetarian options: I was pleased with the vegetarian options, but be aware that some sides (like green beans) include meat (like andouille sausage)Dietary restrictions: They have diet Coke and a number of salads.

My partner and I went to Boogaloo for dinner recently. We were searching online in the area and came across this place that had Caribbean cuisine. We hadn't seen a place that was catered to this type of cuisine and had to try it out. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. They had indoor seating and outside seating therefore we choose to sit outside to enjoy the weather.The outside space was nice and quaint. It had some beautiful murals all over the walls. I love art and fell in love with this. It didn't take long for us to get our order in or to receive the food. My partner got appetizers to start us off with. Jerk Chicken Wings and Empanadas. They were so darn good. I'm a big empanada fan and definitely wanted more????Getting our meals, everything including the appetizers was hot and fresh. No complaints at all. I got a Catfish Poboy with fries that was off the chain. It was so good. My partner mainly got appetizers and a order of gumbo that I also tasted and it was so good.Overall Boogaloo was a place that we'd definitely visit again. We saw many couples and adults. I'm unsure if children were allowed. I'd suggest calling ahead to confirm this. Inside the restaurant was very nicely decorated with other beautiful murals. My fave was the scene from the Princess and the Frog ???? Y'all check this out, they also had wooden swings at the bar that you can sit it. That was the coolest thing to me. That made my day.This establishment was wheelchair accessible and parking was out front on the main street Manchester from what I saw. Definitely enjoy this place when you go. The drink menu alone made us come here but we ordered food slightly out of our comfort zone and we were not disappointed. Tried roasted plantains for the first time - so good. And the cigaro cubanos was awesome! The service was great too. We will be back.

The service was excellent and the drinks were yummy and strong. The food was great too although I was hoping for a little more flavor to the smoked chicken. The rice that came with is was amazing though. And the appetizer I got-cigarro cubanos. Holy smokes those were awesome!

Very flavourful food, paella was delicious, jambalaya was great. Cajun rubbed beef tenderloin was absolutely delicious. Smoked pulled pork sandwich was great too. Also had crab empanadas along with cigarro cubanos Very tasty appetizers. Chicken & and andouille gumbo was full of flavor. Food was spicy but not spicy hot, but with alot of flavor.Parking: Street parking is available or across the street is a large parking lot

Boogaloo is always a good time, Ive been here numerous times. Its Louisiana inspired fusion. Try the jambalaya, it's my go to and really good.

I love this place. From the funky fun atmosphere with swings as bar seating, to delicious cocktails. This visit the food was... mediocre. It was good, but just not what I'd come to expect from Boogaloo. On top of that, the drink menu apparently changed, but not the web menu, so there was some confusion when I placed my drink order. They were still able to make what I wanted, but I noticed that the portion was much smaller than previous visits. Rocks glass vs pint glass.Overall, still a good spot to go... But honestly if I'm going to spend $100 on dinner and a few drinks for 2 people, I'll probably go elsewhere next time.

Nice first experience. Enjoyed the service our waitress was very attentive and helping. The drinks were great and the food came out fairly quick. Overall, everything had great flavor except the jerk wings and the sauce they came with. Will be going back to try other things on the menu.

i was a little let down by the quality of the food considering ive been wanting to visit for some time. LOVED the swings at the bar, but it made eating a bit awkward. the woman behind the bar that day was SUPER AWESOME! she engaged in conversation with us and didnt seem to mind us -being nosey- and asking about cocktails she made for guests. the food didnt have much flavor and wasnt very hot which bummed me out. i will give this place another spin in coming months, my dining experience wasnt a complete disaster
