Founded in 2016 by sisters Kiersten and Krista Gormeley, Shaka Bowl is self-described as the mainland's first poke and acai restaurant.
Gormeley, chef and co-owner of Shaka in Hoboken, reflects on her Hawaiian culinary influences and recent win on Food Network's Chopped.
