It was like staying in a time capsule (the inn was built in 1924). The complimentary lunch was the best I have ever had. We also had dinner in their restaurant the evening of the 1st. The shrimp & grits was unique (the chef is from Alabama, so he knows what he is doing), and the French onion soup was the best I have ever had. A bit pricey but worth it! After all, you are surrounded by dark wood paneling and doted upon by the waiter. Finally, all members of the staff were very nice and eager to accommodate. Overall, I cannot think of any complaint (believe me, this is quite rare for me)."
