• 5: This is pretty good BBQ. Ordered it delivered, but looking forward to having it in person. I tried several things to get the full experience. I'd grade the pulled pork sandwich 5*, I added their coleslaw (4*) to the sandwich and it was solid. The ribs were also very good (4*) and the potato salad was absolutely perfect (5*). That stuff is like crack. I didn't care for the pintos w/ brisket (3*) and I thought the brisket was overcooked (3*). All in all, some good BBQ and I look forward to trying it on location.
• 4: Decent bbq cafeteria style restaurant. Get in line, grab a tray, choose your meats and your sides. Good flavor on the ribs and brisket but they were a little dry. Big portions. Mac and cheese was good and creamy. Coleslaw was flavorful and a little spicy without overdoing it. Easy in and out because of the self-service. Good atmosphere and lots of cool, historical pics and information.
• 2: Came here for lunch on 1/11/23. Quick expedient Cafeteria style Service. Folks behind the Counter were efficient. Portions huge. 1 meat platter will fill you up trust me! Brisket was amazing! Best I have had so far. Yup, The Best. The Brussels Sprouts blew my mind. We had Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Salad also. The Standard BBQ was great as were the Table Sauces. Why you would go Downtown and wait in line 1 hour for a product no better than this is beyond me. GO HERE FOR BBQ ?? ??. I would give this another Star for just getting everything right!
• 5 months ago: Absolutely some of the most delicious brisket I’ve ever eaten. But, Whew!… their meat is EXPENSIVE, just a warning, but delicious. Smoked Turkey was delicious, in-house made sausage was good but I wouldn’t buy it again. I didn’t like the peach cobbler either. Honestly, Mrs. Smith’s (frozen, take home and bake) Peach Cobbler is a much better choice and DELICIOUS.
