My Favorite Hibachi in VA.

I was starving when I arrived at Kanpai. Most of the time I would say hunger had a big influence on my review, but the food here was seriously good. The hibachi chef made my scallops exactly how I wanted them. The steak too. Can't wait to go back.

So much to choose from

I'm a weirdo. I go to hibachi but never sit there. I always choose a table. Call me stuffy, but I like to eat calmly. Besides, I still get to sneak a peek at the show from the comfort of the privacy of my table. If it's your first time there, try the chicken and steak combo. You can never go wrong with that. My wife always gets the sushi and she has never complained. The staff ain't perfect, but they're nice enough.

I always celebrate my birthday at Kanpai

Mostly because the food is good, the chefs are super entertaining and the prices ain't bad at all..besides, my friends are paying. If you're spooked by the price of dinner, go for lunch. It's more affordable, you just get a smaller portion. Can't wait for next year.
