- 2 lblarge Gulf shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cupunsalted butter
- 1/2 cupWorcestershire sauce
- 2 tbspCreole seasoning
- 1 tbsppaprika
- 2 tspblack pepper
- 2 tspdried rosemary
- 2 tsphot sauce (optional)
- 1 tbspminced garlic
- 1/2 cuplemon juice
- 1 largeFrench baguette, sliced and toasted
Recipe serves 4 people
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- 2Combine butter, Worcestershire, Creole seasoning, paprika, pepper, rosemary, hot sauce, garlic and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat until butter melts and mixture bubbles.
- 3Pour hot sauce evenly over shrimp. Stir to coat.
- 4Bake 8–10 minutes, until shrimp curl and turn pink, basting once with sauce.
- 5Switch oven to broil; broil 1–2 minutes or until shrimp just char at edges.
- 6Serve immediately in bowls, ladling extra sauce on top and plenty of warm baguette slices for dipping.

Chef's Notes
For extra richness, stir in an extra pat of cold butter just before serving. This is traditionally served with heads-on shrimp; feel free to adjust. Pair with a crisp white wine or cold lager.
