Ingredients

  • 1 lbboneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cupall-purpose flour
  • 2 pieceseggs, beaten
  • 1 cupseasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cupcornstarch
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 2 cupsvegetable oil for frying

Instructions

    Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    Place eggs and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.

    Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip in egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.

    Heat oil in a deep skillet or saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
