Ingredients
- 1 lbboneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cupall-purpose flour
- 2 pieceseggs, beaten
- 1 cupseasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cupcornstarch
- 1 tsppaprika
- 1 tspgarlic powder
- 1/2 tspsalt
- 1/2 tspblack pepper
- 2 cupsvegetable oil for frying
Recipe serves 4 people
Instructions
- 1Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 2Place eggs and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.
- 3Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip in egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
- 4Heat oil in a deep skillet or saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
- 5Fry chicken nuggets in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- 6Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
