  • 2 canscannellini beans, drained
  • 3 tbspextra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 clovesgarlic, smashed
  • 6 leavesfresh sage
  • 1 cupcrushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cupwater or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tspblack pepper

    Add smashed garlic and sage leaves; cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
