Ingredients
- 1 lbpizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cuppizza sauce
- 2 cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 lbtoppings of choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, sausage, etc.)
- 1 tbspolive oil
- 1 tspcornmeal for dusting
- to taste pinchsalt & pepper
Recipe serves 4 people
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 475 °F (245 °C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside.
- 2Roll or stretch dough on a floured surface to a 14-inch circle; sprinkle cornmeal on parchment and transfer dough.
- 3Brush edge of dough with olive oil; spread sauce evenly over center, leaving 1-inch border.
- 4Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over sauce, then scatter your chosen toppings.
- 5Slide parchment (with pizza) onto preheated stone/sheet; bake 15-18 min until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
- 6Remove from oven, cool 2 min, slice, and serve.
